Lab Technician

Lab Technician – Full-Time (Days/Tuesday evening)

Responsibilities

• Edging and tinting ophthalmic lenses (training provided)
• Operating equipment used for lens edging and tinting
• Performing routine cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Ordering and monitoring lab supplies, including dyes, lens pads, and other materials
• Answering telephone inquiries as required
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe laboratory work area
• Assisting with general lab duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous optical or laboratory experience is an asset, but not required
