We are currently seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Receptionist / Optometrist Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis.

If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent organizational skills, we would love to hear from you!

Qualifications

Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
Professional, friendly, and positive attitude
Previous optical or healthcare experience is considered an asset, but is not required

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Greeting patients in a professional and friendly manner
Entering and maintaining patient information accurately
Pre-testing patients prior to appointments (training provided)
Scheduling and confirming appointments
Billing and processing insurance claims
General front desk and clerical duties, including filing, scanning, and faxing
Contacting patients to book eye examinations and recalls
Balancing payments and completing end-of-day procedures
