Lab Manager

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics Technology, or related technical field
• 5–10 years experience working in engineering laboratory environments
• Strong knowledge of electronic test equipment
• Experience supporting lab operations and equipment coordination
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent cross-functional communication abilities
• Preferred
• Experience working in multi-lab engineering environments
• Familiarity with calibration and asset tracking systems such as IndySoft
• Knowledge of ESD and electrical safety standards
• Experience implementing equipment tracking or inventory systems
• Success Metrics
• Consistency of lab standards across the campus
• Efficient equipment procurement and cost savings
• Effective coordination with calibration and asset tracking programs
• Organization and accessibility of lab storage and component inventory
• Availability and reliability of shared lab resources
• Engineering team satisfaction with lab infrastructure support
