Our laboratory team plays a critical role in delivering accurate and timely diagnostic services, supporting patient care across the health system.

As a Laboratory Assistant, you will perform essential laboratory support procedures, ensuring the smooth operation of pre and post-analytic processes.

Your work directly supports laboratory staff, caregivers, and patients by maintaining efficiency and accuracy in specimen handling and processing.

This role is vital to the seamless delivery of diagnostic services, contributing to high-quality patient care.

• Perform order entry, specimen/material pick-up, transportation, tracking, receipt, and processing.
• Operate and maintain pre and post-analytic laboratory equipment, including laboratory automation.
• Interact with patients, laboratory staff, and caregivers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Utilize information systems to efficiently manage tasks and ensure accuracy.
• Perform occasional phlebotomy services, if required at your site.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.

• Experience in a medical setting, hospital, or clinic laboratory.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and human anatomy.
