Role Overview
Provide on-site IT support and ensure smooth day-to-day operations at a customer site.
The role is an L1 resident support engineering position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1 technical support for end users and IT infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, firewall, switches, network devices, printers, and connectivity issues.
- Monitor and respond to service desk tickets and user requests.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of Windows, Microsoft 365, LAN, Wi-Fi, and peripherals.
- Escalate complex issues to L2 and L3 teams while maintaining proper documentation.
- Assist with user onboarding, account setup, and access-related requests.
- Maintain IT asset and support documentation.
- Follow SLA requirements and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or resident engineer roles.
- Good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently at the customer site.
Pay
- AED 2,500–5,000 per month.
Work Location
- The role is performed in person at a customer site.
