Job Overview
The KYC Operations Analyst 2 is an intermediate-level position supporting AML monitoring, governance, oversight, and regulatory reporting.
The role develops and manages a dedicated internal Know Your Client program at Citi.
Responsibilities
- Conduct client profile reviews and verify information and documentation against local regulations and Citi standards.
- Update KYC forms and client profiles, track KYC records, and support the Appendix approval process.
- Follow up with clients for required information and support action planning for expiring records.
- Assess risk, drive compliance with applicable requirements, and escalate, manage, and report control issues.
Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in banking operations is preferred, particularly client account opening and pre-requirements processes.
- Bachelor's degree, university degree, or equivalent experience.
Relevant Skills
- Business acumen, laws and regulations, management reporting, policy and procedure, and program management.
- Referral and escalation, risk controls and monitoring, risk identification and assessment, and risk remediation.
