KWH Constructors Inc - Field Engineer Level II / Engineer In Training

• Work is performed in a combination standard office, field office, construction site, and hybrid / home environment. KWH is willing to work with all employees on a work environment that allows them to excel. However, as a Field Engineer Level 2, extensive time will be spent at field offices and construction sites.
• Subject to standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting of objects up to 75 pounds; may occasionally be exposed to dangerous machinery, extreme weather conditions, physical harm, hazardous chemicals, and extreme noise when conducting site visits and working in the field.

• 2-4 years of construction experience, preferably including structural steel installation.
• Steel Bridge and Industrial construction experience is preferred.
• Degree in Civil or Construction Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• EIT registration is required.
• Experience with HeavyJob, HeavyBid, and or Autodesk Construction Cloud Build is advantageous.
• Beginner knowledge of crane / lifting operations and rigging, construction equipment and techniques, review of drawings and specifications, building materials, and applicable project standards.
• Site experience working with the structural ironworker trade is preferred.
• Ability to assume responsibility and interface and communicate effectively with others.
• Must be eligible to work in the US. Eligibility to work in Canada would be advantageous.
