Assign and prioritize daily kitting activities based on production schedules, customer requirements, and operational priorities. Create and optimize standard operating procedures. Develop processes to automate warehouse stocking, kitting, and inventory material management. Oversee the accurate picking, verification, assembly, and staging of production kits. Ensure production teams receive the correct materials, quantities, revisions, and documentation within required timelines. Coordinate closely with Production Planning and Manufacturing teams to adjust priorities and support schedule attainment. Provide daily leadership, coaching, training, and support to kitting personnel while fostering accountability, teamwork, and professional development. Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate shortages, discrepancies, damaged inventory, and transaction errors. Ensure accurate ERP, MRP, and WMS transactions involving material movement, issuing, transfers, adjustments, and inventory control activities. Serve as the primary operational resource for warehouse and kitting processes within ERP, MRP, and WMS systems. Develop and maintain material traceability processes including barcode scanning, labeling, lot control, and serial number tracking. Partner with Engineering, Quality, Production, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to resolve material-related issues affecting production. Track and drive key performance indicators including inventory accuracy, kitting productivity, kit completion rates, material shortages, and on-time kit delivery. Identify and implement improvements to workflow, warehouse organization, material movement, and system utilization. Lead continuous improvement activities utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S methodologies, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to improve efficiency and eliminate waste. Support ERP/WMS system implementations, upgrades, testing, user training, and process improvements. Maintain organized, clean, and safe kitting and staging areas. Promote and enforce all safety, quality, inventory control, and material handling requirements. Foster an engaging work environment where employees understand how their contributions support production efficiency and customer satisfaction. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Experience in cable assemblies, wire harness manufacturing, electronics assembly, aerospace, defense, medical device, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
Experience leading warehouse, inventory control, or kitting teams.
Experience supporting ERP/WMS implementations, upgrades, or process optimization projects.
Experience developing SOPs, work instructions, workflows, and inventory control processes.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience with KPI development, metrics reporting, dashboard management, and operational data analysis.
Knowledge of FIFO, Kanban, point-of-use inventory, min/max planning, lot traceability, and serial number control.
Experience supporting production planning, demand planning, or material requirements planning activities.
Associate's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish or English/Vietnamese).
Be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted. Beyond this will require the buddy system or a lifting device.
Ability to stay on foot for prolonged periods of time and mobility to get around the facility without limitations.
Achieve daily tasks that require repetitive use of hands and other body parts.
Learn and follow all safety requirements. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
