Role Overview

Compensation

• The position offers a fixed monthly salary of AED 2,300.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or healthcare environment in the UAE is required.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in refrigeration systems, kitchen equipment maintenance, and laundry equipment maintenance are required.
• Physical stamina and endurance to handle heavy lifting and extended periods of standing and walking are required.
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively resolve technical issues is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ownership, and a hands-on approach are expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair kitchen and laundry equipment and perform preventive maintenance and shift readings.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment while minimizing downtime.
• Evaluate equipment usage and energy efficiency and implement appropriate improvements.
• Update shop drawings, equipment catalogs, tagging directories, work orders, paperwork, and daily logs.
• Maintain health and safety records, respond to safety requests, and report hazards.
• Handle chemicals and refrigerants using environmentally responsible practices.
• Participate in the Emergency Response Team when directed.
• Attend departmental meetings, support continuous improvement, and complete assigned work under the Chief Engineer's direction.

Work Environment

• The role is based in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment and involves physical work, including heavy lifting, standing, and walking.
• The technician may work with kitchen, laundry, refrigeration, chemical, and refrigerant systems.
