Position Summary
Kitchen Supervisor role supporting food preparation, kitchen staff coordination, food presentation, stock control, food safety, and quality at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
The position is full time, non-management, and performed in the hotel kitchen.
Kitchen Operations
- Supervise and coordinate cooks and kitchen workers.
- Determine food presentation and create decorative food displays.
- Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and garnish for food served.
- Monitor food preparation quantities and inform service staff about specials and unavailable menu items.
- Prepare special meals or substitute items and assist cooks and kitchen staff with tasks.
- Provide cooks with needed items and monitor kitchen supplies and food stock.
Food Safety and Quality
- Maintain kitchen logs for food safety programs and food products.
- Ensure the quality of food items and notify management when products do not meet specifications.
- Follow company, safety, and security policies and report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
- Complete required safety training and certifications.
