- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work surfaces
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors
- Dispose of garbage and maintain waste separation procedures
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks (washing vegetables, peeling, cutting ingredients)
- Receive, store, and organize kitchen supplies and inventory
- Refill cleaning supplies and kitchen consumables as needed
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
- Help maintain orderly storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers
- Support kitchen staff during busy service periods
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of cleanliness and hygiene practices
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Reliability and punctuality
- Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is an advantage
- Food safety certification may be preferred
