Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, grills, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, and exhaust systems.
• Maintain and service laundry equipment including washers, dryers, steamers, and ironers.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules to minimize downtime.
• Respond promptly to urgent repair requests from kitchen and housekeeping departments.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and complete repairs or recommend replacements.
• Coordinate with specialized vendors for complex repairs and parts procurement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations for electrical and gas-powered appliances.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment service history for audit and compliance.
• Assist with installation and setup of new equipment when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop and tool inventory.
