- Assist chefs with food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients
- Support assigned kitchen sections such as tandoor, grill, curry, BBQ, sweets, or naan production
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations, and storage areas
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly during and after service
- Receive deliveries, check stock, and organize inventory under supervisor guidance
- Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and FIFO practices
- Dispose of waste and maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen environment
- Set up and clean down kitchen stations before and after service
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times
- Report equipment issues, low stock, or safety concerns to supervisors
- Support kitchen operations during busy service hours while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
- 1 2 years of experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift moderate loads safely
- Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to follow instructions
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- Basic English communication skills preferred
- Urdu or Hindi language skills are an advantage

- Royal Gujrat Restaurant & Sweets is looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Helper to support daily kitchen operations.
- The ideal candidate will assist chefs with food preparation, maintain cleanliness and hygiene, receive and organize supplies, and ensure the kitchen operates efficiently during busy service periods.
- This role is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen who are eager to grow their culinary career.
Key Responsibilities
