Role Overview
Support the kitchen team with food preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen duties.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with daily food preparation.
- Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables and other ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Wash dishes, cooking utensils, and kitchen tools.
- Receive, store, and organize food supplies.
- Handle and store food items properly.
- Dispose of kitchen waste properly.
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
- Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
