Role Responsibilities
- Install, connect, test, and commission commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Install gas-operated, electrical, and steam-operated equipment according to manufacturer requirements and project specifications.
- Complete plumbing, electrical, gas, and steam connections for equipment installation.
- Arrange required plumbing, electrical, gas, steam, and installation materials for site work.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Cut, bend, braze, and fit copper and brass tubes for gas, water, and related connections.
- Apply silicon or sealant and complete professional finishing work.
- Conduct pressure testing, leak checks, functional checks, and basic troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, clients, consultants, and other contractors.
- Report site constraints, incorrect connection points, material shortages, and technical issues.
Requirements and Capabilities
- Hands-on installation and connection experience with commercial kitchen and laundry equipment is required by the role duties.
- Ability to read installation drawings, connection details, technical specifications, and site requirements.
- Familiarity with UAE suppliers for plumbing, electrical, gas, copper, brass, valves, pipes, and related materials.
- Safe and effective use of hand tools and power tools.
Work Setting
- The role involves physical site installation work and coordination with civil, MEP, and other contractors.
