  • British American Tobacco UAE has an exciting opportunity for a Key Accounts Manager, Gulf.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Develop Channel strategy, ATSM strategy by market and ensure solid plans are put in place to deliver on the strategy.
  • Create and develop channel strategy & account plans for assigned accounts to ensure volume / profit objectives per account are achieved.
  • Efficiently manage contracts and lead annual negotiation, optimizing where possible/necessary.
  • Lead regular performance evaluation, develop growth initiatives and corrective actions.
  • Develop long term sales plans for customers, monitor & recommend sales activities to achieve sustainable volume, value & profit growth.
  • Evaluate the joint business plans with customers to deliver critical metrics.
  • Planning and presenting reports on account / channel progress, goals, and initiatives to internal stakeholders (incl. sell out data).
  • Perform operational work related to day to day business (i.e. customer performance reports, customers presentations, updates on trade and competition, budgets management etc.).
  • Design and execute a KA plan based on cycle plan, inclusive of KA trade programs.
  • Proactively seek, identify, and quantify opportunities to grow our business (trade programs, visibility, etc.).
  • Build collaborative business relationship with internal and external partners.

What are we looking for?

  • 7 10 years of relevant experience in Key Account Management, Commercial, or Sales roles.
  • Strong background in FMCG industry is required.
  • Proven experience managing large key accounts in UAE / Gulf region is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with major retail / distribution partners (e.g. leading supermarket chains, regional key accounts, large scale retail customers).
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing revenue targets, account growth, and overall performance delivery.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills across multiple levels of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with marketing, finance, supply chain, and market teams.
  • Strong problem solving and decision making capabilities in a fast paced environment.
  • Bilingual in English and Arabic.
