As part of the Sales team, you will have autonomy to engage with leading enterprise customers, prospects and partners.
You will help foster long term, sustainable, and mutually rewarding relationships.

As the Key Account Director you will:
• Own the overall account relationship, in order to drive net-new revenue in the account and ensure customer success
• Build consensus and develop relationships at multiple levels: executive sponsors, decision-makers, influencers
• Align Cloudera domain products and service experts to key customer stakeholders, while maintaining account oversight
• Lead large scale sales cycles and transactions
• Meet regularly with the account to generate new Cloudera demand and net-new pipeline
• Forecast the business, lead the internal team, and communicate key updates
• Exceed quarterly and annual goals for new software subscription and cloud consumption
We’re excited about you if you have:
• Minimum 10+ years of exceeding enterprise software sales targets
• Minimum 5+ years of experience selling to financial services vertical, in particular, with accounts such as American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Capital One, London Stock Exchange.
• AI proficient, understanding of the impact AI will have on businesses
• Data management, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing experience
• Containers, Kubernetes, data infrastructure, public cloud infrastructure technology experience
• Four year degree (Bachelor's) from accredited university required
• Ability to travel
