Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Development: Design appealing, seasonal menus that align with the restaurant’s brand and profitability targets.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and approve all dishes before they leave the kitchen to maintain high standards of presentation and taste.
  • Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule the kitchen brigade, fostering a positive team culture.
  • Inventory & Cost Control: Manage supplier relationships, oversee food inventory, and monitor food costs to minimize waste and maximize margins.
  • Compliance: Ensure the kitchen strictly adheres to local food safety, allergen, and hygiene regulations.
