Position Summary

Prepare ingredients and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists.

Prepare cold foods, monitor food quality, portion finished food, and maintain correct food and appliance temperatures.

Schedule

  • The position is full time.

Workplace

  • The role is located at Airport Road in Dubai and is not remote.

Kitchen Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring, and mixing.
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers, and test food to determine whether it is sufficiently cooked.
  • Set up and break down the workstation and serve food in proper portions onto appropriate receptacles.
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
  • Follow safety and security policies, report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Maintain professional communication and appearance, support team goals, and perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
  • No supervisory experience is specified as preferred.
  • The role requires extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking and handling objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
