The role
FundApps is hiring an engineer to work on software products that monitor regulatory compliance for investment managers.

Engineering work
- Develop and maintain software used by investment managers and their compliance teams.
- Solve business problems through technology and deliver solutions within larger projects.
- Work across backend services, data storage, cloud infrastructure, delivery pipelines, and frontend systems.
- Deploy software frequently and contribute to reliable delivery practices.
- Improve code, processes, standards, workflows, and automation.
Technology stack
- Backend technologies include C# and cloud services.
- Data storage includes PostgreSQL, Aurora, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Infrastructure uses Terraform and AWS services including Fargate, Lambdas, and Step Functions.
- Delivery tools include GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, and Serverless.
- Frontend technologies include React and TypeScript.
What you will bring
- Generalist knowledge of software design, product requirements, work breakdown, and agile practices.
- Knowledge of TDD, CI/CD, and architecture.
- Ability to solve well-defined problems independently and with a team.
- Ability to write code in C#, Java, or Python.
- Comfort with ambiguity, evolving requirements, feedback, and cross-team collaboration.
- Interest in improving code, processes, standards, and workflow automation.
Workplace and eligibility
- FundApps works in a hybrid model.
- New employees are asked to spend three days per week in the London office during their first six months.
- After the first six months, the policy requires at least two office days per week.
- Candidates must have permission to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
Salary
- The stated base salary range is £57,000 to £65,000 per year, with the final offer based on experience and interview performance.
