Role & Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day project and shop requirements, including correspondence with customers and internal project teams. • Communicate project due dates, priorities, and schedule requirements to the shop floor. • Follow up with vendors regarding material availability, late deliveries, and outstanding orders. • Procure project and shop materials as required. • Facilitate and coordinate vendor and project quotes. • Assist with the preparation, submission, and tracking of Requests for Information (RFIs). • Maintain and manage Spool Record Sheets (SRS) and ensure records are kept current and accurate. • Prepare and maintain project binders and associated project documentation. • Print, organize, and distribute drawings and other project documentation for the shop floor. • Coordinate the procurement of spool nameplates and ensure they are available as required for fabrication. • Liaise between Rambler and TMBT/Whaler to coordinate project requirements, information, schedules, and deliverables. • Assist with document control and maintain organized project and fabrication records. • Assist with tracking project materials, drawings, and outstanding items to support fabrication schedules. • Support the shop team with general project coordination and administrative requirements. • Perform other duties as required.

Required Skills

• Familiarity with drafting and fabrication software such as AutoCAD, SpoolFab, ProCAM, or similar programs would be considered an asset. • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and project documentation would be an asset. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced shop environment. • Strong work ethic and results-driven approach. • Ability to work independently while also supporting a collaborative shop team. • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. • Positive and professional approach when communicating with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
