Role Overview
Sai Tech Industries is hiring a Junior Production Engineer for its workshop.
The role supports the Production Head with daily fabrication and machining activities.
Fresh engineering graduates and candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience are invited to apply.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily workshop activities with the Production Head.
- Interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and specifications.
- Use AutoCAD to review drawings and make basic modifications.
- Communicate production instructions to workshop personnel.
- Follow up with fabricators, welders, machinists and other workshop staff.
- Check work in progress, take measurements and identify errors or deviations.
- Report production issues, drawing discrepancies and quality concerns.
- Maintain production records and assist with job tracking and documentation.
- Coordinate engineering, production and workshop teams to complete jobs to requirements.
- Assist with inspection, final checking and preparation of completed jobs for delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
