Role Overview
CNC Machine Operator position in a machining workshop at Sai Tech Industries.
The role involves operating, setting up, inspecting, and maintaining CNC machining equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently.
- Read engineering and machining drawings.
- Set up jobs, fixtures, and cutting tools.
- Operate Heidenhain, Fanuc, or Siemens CNC controls.
- Make basic tool and work offset adjustments.
- Measure components with vernier, micrometer, and other precision tools.
- Monitor machining to ensure required dimensions and tolerances.
- Maintain machines, tools, and the work area.
Requirements
- Two to three or more years of CNC machining experience.
- Practical experience with Heidenhain, Fanuc, or Siemens controls.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and machining processes.
- Ability to independently set up and operate CNC machines.
- Knowledge of cutting tools and basic machining parameters.
- Steel and other engineering-material machining experience is an advantage.
