The Junior Inventory Assistant will assist with managing inventory records, tracking stock levels, and supporting the inventory team to ensure accurate and organized stock management.
This is an entry-level role ideal for candidates looking to grow in logistics or supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and logging incoming stock.
- Track inventory levels and update stock records accurately.
- Assist in stocktaking and periodic audits.
- Organize and maintain the storage areas and warehouse.
- Report discrepancies in stock levels or damaged items to the supervisor.
- Support the team in preparing inventory reports.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure stock availability for operations.
- Follow all safety and company protocols in handling stock.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
- Basic understanding of inventory management processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with inventory software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and take direction.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
