Role Overview
Join the engineering team as a Junior Front-End Developer and help build and maintain responsive web pages and UI components.
Work on real-world web applications while learning industry best practices and collaborating with senior developers, designers, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate wireframes and design mockups into clean, accessible, and responsive code using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript.
- Assist in developing and maintaining core web application features using React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Troubleshoot front-end issues, debug cross-browser compatibility problems, and help improve page-load performance.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure design fidelity and coordinate with back-end developers to integrate APIs.
- Participate in code reviews, pair-programming sessions, and team retrospectives.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 0–2 years of professional experience, bootcamp training, or a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant front-end projects.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript.
- Familiarity with at least one modern front-end library or framework, including React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Understanding of responsive design principles, including a mobile-first approach.
- Understanding of CSS layout techniques including Flexbox and Grid.
