Job Overview
- Support the development, reformulation, and evaluation of food products, ingredient systems, and applications through laboratory work, product preparation, and sensory assessment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support formulation improvements, product adjustments, processing observations, and practical solutions to technical challenges with direction from senior technologists.
- Prepare finished product samples according to established procedures and support customer projects, product demonstrations, presentations, and technical requests.
- Assist in research activities, product improvement initiatives, creative ideation sessions, and investigation of new ingredients, technologies, and solutions.
- Contribute to development of new knowledge, products, and technologies by supporting experiments, collecting observations, and sharing technical findings.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and prepare technical reports, presentations, product information, data tables, and project summaries.
- Operate laboratory equipment and maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.
- Evaluate raw materials, formulations, and finished products through sensory and technical assessments.
- Support preparation, evaluation, and documentation required for commercialization activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and support customer or supplier related technical activities.
- Continuously develop technical skills, scientific knowledge, and industry expertise through training and professional development.
