Roles and Responsibilities

• Comply with EHS regulations and policies and understand hazards, risk assessment, and defense controls.
• Report safety concerns proactively to help maintain safe working conditions.
• Read and follow work procedures and schematics or follow verbal instructions.
• Follow all EHS and quality policies and procedures.
• Perform manufacturing and assembly operations using procedures, bills of materials, work instructions, and process aid sheets.
• Maintain daily production output while meeting safety and quality standards.
• Perform quality inspections and report nonconformances.
• Apply 5S, standard work, Kaizen, poka-yoke, and other lean concepts to maintain lean standards.
• Apply 7 QC tools, root cause analysis, PFMEA, checklists, and first-pass-yield practices.
• Work with team leads, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency.
• Participate in quality activities, training sessions, and employee activity teams as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or local equivalent in an electrical or mechanical background with two years of manufacturing experience in the wind industry, specifically Nozzle or Hub.
• Experience operating heavy-lift EOT cranes.
• Demonstrated safety-first and zero-defect mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with coworkers and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or local equivalent is preferred.
• Two or more years of related manufacturing experience in the wind-turbine industry is preferred.
