Role Overview
The Junior Data Engineer will support the delivery of regional and national health data assets.
The role involves turning complex health data into clean, structured research assets across the research data lifecycle.
The postholder will work with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Managers, project managers, and delivery managers.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with cleaning, mapping, and standardizing health datasets, including mapping to the OMOP Common Data Model.
- Help develop reproducible and secure data pipelines for research projects.
- Work on and maintain data assets within secure data platforms and infrastructure.
- Assist with data validation, feasibility checks, and research data extracts matching cohort specifications.
