About the Role
Brunel seeks a Junior Buyer in Doha to manage procurement of goods and services, process purchase requisitions, evaluate supplier quotations, and support inventory planning. Responsibilities
- Manage procurement goods, materials, and services to ensure operational needs are met considering price, quality, on time delivery, and continuity of supply
- Process purchase requisitions promptly and accurately to support business needs
- Proactively follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding quotations, product availability, and order status updates
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), collect and organize supplier quotations
- Evaluate and compare supplier quotations based on price, quality, and delivery terms, supporting the selection process
- Assist in negotiating pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and support the onboarding process for new vendors
- Address and resolve supplier related issues, including delivery delays, shortages and quality discrepancies
- Monitor order status and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures and ethical standards
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information
Requirements
- Year of Experience: 4 7 years
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in technical/commercial or other education
- Knowledge and experience of SAP, Ariba, Procurement tools (will be an advantage)
- Microsoft skills (excel, word processing, PP)
- Transferable visa / NOC available
- Available in Qatar
