The employer is hiring a Junior Accountant to join its growing team.
The role is based in Ras Al Khor, Dubai, UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable using Odoo ERP.
- Prepare invoices and process payments.
- Maintain the petty cash register and process reimbursement claims.
- Pass journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Prepare cash flow reports and budget reports.
- Process monthly payroll.
- Coordinate with banks and assist with credit facility application submissions.
- Support the finance team with day-to-day accounting activities.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- The role requires 0–2 years of accounting experience.
- UAE accounting experience is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles is required.
- Knowledge of Odoo ERP is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills are required.
- The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation
- Salary is AED 2,500 per month, inclusive of all benefits.
