Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts on a regular basis
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance
- Prepare and file tax returns, VAT reports, and other statutory filings
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
- Review and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve profitability and cost efficiency
- Maintain payroll records and support payroll processing when required
- Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
