Role Overview
A fast-growing food and beverage business with multiple outlets and cloud kitchens is hiring a detail-oriented Junior Accountant.
The role supports day-to-day accounting, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily sales, purchases, and expenses for outlets.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and cash collections.
- Assist in monthly closing and financial reporting.
- Track inventory and cost of goods sold.
- Support VAT calculations and filings.
- Maintain proper financial documentation for audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of accounting experience.
- Food and beverage experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Knowledge of POS systems and accounting software such as Tally, Zoho, or QuickBooks.
- Good understanding of cash handling, petty cash, and inventory tracking.
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, or Malayalam.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
