Role Overview
The Junior Accountant role is based in Qatar in the laundry services industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting records, invoices, receipts, and payment entries.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Prepare daily sales and expense reports.
- Assist with bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
- Maintain documentation and filing of financial records.
- Assist with monthly closing, payroll-related accounting, and other financial reports.
- Coordinate with management and other departments on financial matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of accounting experience.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Laundry or service-company experience is an advantage.
- Qatar or GCC experience is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is QAR 2,000–2,500 per month.
Work Arrangement
- Work is in person.
