Job Summary
Manage and support enterprise IT systems covering networking, IP telephony, firewalls, asset management, and IT service desk operations.
Perform proactive monitoring and patch management while supporting high availability and security of IT services.
Network Management
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot switching, routing, VLAN, and VPN issues.
- Manage routers, switches, wireless controllers, Azure Firewall, NSGs, and Application Gateway.
- Ensure network availability, performance, and security.
IP Telephony
- Deploy and maintain IP telephony systems such as Cisco Call Manager, Teams, and Ribbon.
- Manage voice gateways, SIP trunks, and telephony devices.
- Troubleshoot voice quality and connectivity issues and support adds, moves, and changes.
Firewall and Security
- Configure firewalls, security policies, NAT rules, and VPN settings.
- Monitor firewall logs and respond to security incidents.
- Maintain compliance with security standards and best practices.
Asset and Service Desk Operations
- Maintain inventories of hardware, software, and licenses and track asset lifecycles.
- Conduct audits, manage the CMDB, and ensure asset compliance.
- Provide L2/L3 support, resolve incidents and service requests, meet SLAs, and maintain the knowledge base.
Monitoring and Patching
- Monitor infrastructure using tools such as ManageEngine and SOC systems.
- Identify performance or availability issues and report on system health and uptime.
- Plan, test, and execute operating system and application patching and maintain compliance reports.
Required Qualifications
- Strong networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Hands-on IP telephony experience and expertise in firewall configuration and network security.
- Experience with monitoring tools and ticketing systems such as ManageEngine ServiceDesk.
- Basic Windows, Linux, and patch management knowledge.
- Four to eight years of IT infrastructure or operations experience.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, customer support, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts or provide on-call support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Enterprise or managed services experience is preferred.
- CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft, Azure Admin, Cisco, or Avaya certifications are preferred.
- Automation or scripting experience is an added advantage.
Compensation
- Pay is QAR 10,000 to QAR 12,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work is performed in person.
