About the Role

- Assist in implementing authentication and security mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT)
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability and code quality
- Participate in CI/CD processes, Git version control, and Agile ceremonies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in Java development with exposure to Spring Boot
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, SQL, and transaction handling
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD concepts, and Agile development practices
- Basic knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and secure coding principles is preferred

Role Purpose
- Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of backend systems and APIs for financial applications using Java and Spring Boot, while learning best practices in secure coding, integrations, and microservices development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Spring Boot applications, microservices, and REST APIs under senior team guidance.
- Support integrations with internal systems, third party APIs, and financial platforms.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient backend code.
- Assist in implementing authentication and security mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT).
- Support troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Write unit and integration tests.
- Participate in CI/CD processes, Git version control, and Agile ceremonies.
- Support production issue investigation and bug fixes.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, business, and product teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Java development with exposure to Spring Boot.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, SQL, and transaction handling.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD concepts, and Agile development practices.
- Basic knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and secure coding principles is preferred.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and Kafka is a plus.
- Exposure to fintech, lending, payments, or financial systems is an advantage.
Preferred Knowledge
- Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL
- Git, CI/CD, testing fundamentals
- Basic understanding of loan lifecycle, payment workflows, or reconciliation concepts is a plus
- Strong willingness to learn, problem solving mindset, and teamwork skills
