The Jr. SDET joins Nutrien’s Enterprise Custom Applications team within the IT Enterprise Applications organization.
The role supports software quality through software testing, test automation, and quality assurance activities across the software development lifecycle.
The position offers development in modern testing practices, automation frameworks, AI-assisted testing tools, and quality engineering processes.
What you’ll do
- Contribute to test automation initiatives while performing manual testing where appropriate.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated tests for UI, API, integration, and performance testing.
- Support automated test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines and follow established QA practices.
- Participate in test planning, execution, defect tracking, quality reporting, and hands-on daily QA activities.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, product owners, and business analysts to validate requirements.
- Use AI-powered and agentic testing tools for test design, automation, defect analysis, and quality validation.
- Improve test coverage, automation, testing efficiency, quality metrics, defect reporting, and continuous improvement.
