Jr Electrical Controls Engineer

As an Entry-Level Electrical/Controls Engineer specializing in Automated Material Handling (AMH), you will support the design, development, and implementation of control systems for AMH solutions.

Working under the guidance of senior engineers, you will gain hands-on experience contributing to the creation of efficient, reliable, and safe automation systems that meet client needs.

• Project Support and Collaboration:
• Assist senior engineers and technical teams on AMH projects, learning about technical processes and project execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams (including Mechanical, Software, Project Management, and Installation) to understand the project lifecycle from design through commissioning.
• Support the engineering team by assisting with technical documentation and project details.
• Learn to interact with customer engineering teams under supervision, observing communication and technical guidance processes.
• AMH System Support and Learning:
• Learn about the design and development of control systems for various AMH equipment, such as conveyors, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), and robotic palletizers/depalletizers.
• Assist in creating and organizing control system documentation, including reviewing electrical schematics, network diagrams, HMI layouts, and I/O drawings under guidance.
• Learn to identify and understand the function of sensors, actuators, variable frequency drives (VFDs), servo systems, and other control components used in AMH applications.
