The Role

We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our IT team as a Jr.

Desktop Support Engineer.

The Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring that all desktop systems, hardware, software, and peripheral devices function efficiently.

The Responsibilities

Provide Technical Support: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and other devices.
Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware peripherals.
User Assistance: Respond to user inquiries and provide support via phone, email, or in-person to resolve technical issues promptly.
System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, including system updates, backups, and patch management.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and hardware/software inventories.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest technology trends, software updates, and industry best practices.

The Desired Attributes:

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
Experience : Fresher
Technical Skills :

- Knowledge in Windows and macOS operating systems.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair.
Familiarity with network concepts and troubleshooting
Understanding of Active Directory.
Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Customer-oriented approach with a focus on delivering high-quality supportWorking Conditions:
Office environment with occasional requirements for on-site support.
Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed.
Availability for occasional after-hours support and on-call duties.
