Duties and Responsibilities
- Arrive punctually in proper attire and prepared to begin the shift.
- Organize, clean, present, and adequately stock the bar and bar floor area.
- Collect and count the bar float and verify the amount received for the day.
- Greet guests warmly, acknowledge regular guests by name, and explain menus and daily specials.
- Take drink orders, offer upsells, prepare beverages, and serve bar guests.
- Suggest appetizers and entrees, provide wait-time estimates, and conduct food quality checks.
- Offer refills, monitor intoxication, and follow responsible alcohol service requirements.
- Maintain bar displays, collect payments, return change or receipts, and provide comment cards.
- Thank guests, balance the till, complete cash-out procedures, and obtain manager sign-off.
- Clean and restock the bar and perform weekly inventory checks of the bar, cooler, and storeroom.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a junior bartender or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of different alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to work on a shifting schedule.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,650 to AED 3,850 per month.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
