Reporting to the Mechanical Department Manager, the Journeyperson Millwright will work throughout the Lower Mainland, taking on everything from equipment installations and breakdown repairs to preventative maintenance, upgrades, and facility moves. No two customer sites are quite the same, giving you the opportunity to solve new problems, expand your experience, and work alongside other skilled tradespeople.
Depending on the project and your experience, you may also have opportunities to mentor apprentices, provide guidance to the crew, or help coordinate work on site when the Foreman is away.
Key responsibilities include:
Travel to a variety of industrial sites throughout the Lower Mainland;
Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, and upgrade mechanical equipment and systems;
Take ownership of your work from start to finish, ensuring it meets scope and quality standards;
Communicate directly with customers, keeping them informed and setting clear expectations throughout the job;
Work independently and collaboratively with other trades depending on the project;
Support and mentor apprentices and, when required, take the lead in the Foreman’s absence; and
Work safely and follow all company and regulatory requirements, including completing daily FLRAs.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Journeyperson Millwright who enjoys industrial work, variety, and continuously developing their skills. You’re a strong troubleshooter who takes pride in quality work and enjoys exposure to different equipment, customer sites, and industries. Whether you’re looking to strengthen your welding and fabrication skills, tackle new mechanical challenges, or learn from other skilled tradespeople, you’re motivated to become a more well-rounded Millwright. You bring a strong commitment to safety, customer service, teamwork, and sharing your knowledge with apprentices.
