Reporting to the Mechanical Department Manager, the Apprentice Millwright will work across a variety of projects and teams, supporting new installations, maintenance, repairs, and mechanical upgrades in industrial environments throughout the Lower Mainland.

Key responsibilities include:

Travel to industrial customer sites across the Lower Mainland;

Assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, alignment, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment, including pumps, fans, ovens, and conveyors;

Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to support safe and accurate work;

Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and install mechanical equipment;

Identify potential hazards, assess risks, and follow established safety procedures and regulations;

Complete required job documentation, paperwork, and daily FLRAs;

Work collaboratively with Journeyperson Millwrights and other trades to complete projects safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is someone who has completed their Level 2 Millwright Technical Training and has hands-on experience working in industrial environments. You’re eager to grow and advance your career as a Millwright through hands-on learning, mentorship, and exposure to a variety of projects.
