Role overview
Business Application Analyst reporting to the Manager, Business Applications, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Maintains security for ERP and AP Automation systems and provides functional support for ERP and HRMS payroll and pension benefit systems.
This is an existing vacancy with a duration of up to 18 months.
General duties
- Maintain ERP and AP Automation security and workflows.
- Assist with new module and functionality implementations, application upgrades, tax updates and ERP maintenance.
- Participate in fit-gap analysis, document findings, prioritize requirements and recommend project scope.
- Liaise with business and technical stakeholders across multiple City services.
- Assist with user training for financial and HRMS payroll time-entry functions.
- Provide queries, reports and product-level support to management, users and technical staff.
- Support special projects involving system changes, new features and automated processes.
Qualifications
- University degree or college diploma in computer science, or equivalent education and relevant work experience.
- Experience in a financial services department is required; municipal experience is preferred.
