Summary of duties
The Application Support Analyst reports to the Supervisor, Business Applications within Business Services.
The role supports transactional, analytical, and administrative applications that enable key business activities.
Core responsibilities
- Analyze, design, code, and maintain custom and packaged web-based cloud applications.
- Support in-house developed applications through project and operational roles.
- Perform application and interface programming to resolve issues.
- Perform DBMS coding and other scripting.
- Develop test plans and scripts, generate test data, and conduct unit testing.
- Conduct application testing.
- Support and maintain enterprise and departmental systems.
- Configure, update, and deploy custom cloud-developed small to medium-scale applications.
- Apply defined application strategies, architectures, specifications, lifecycle methodologies, and change management processes.
Requirements
- Be able to analyze, design, code, and maintain transactional, analytical, and administrative applications.
- Be able to perform application and interface programming, DBMS coding, scripting, and application testing.
- Be able to apply established application lifecycle development methodologies and change management processes.
