Position Overview
This position supports community based job-training for individuals with barriers to competitive employment. Position assists individuals in skill development, task completion and behavior management. Position develops employment plans, and maintains participant case note and other documentation in accordance with Agency standards.
Work Schedule
- Full time. Days and hours are dependent on business needs. Please be aware that the needs of our business include evening and weekend work. Candidates should be available to work a combination of standard daytime hours and non-traditional hours to support clients at their job sites as required.
Job Location
- This position will be temporarily located at the Goodwill Central Office on Kellogg St, Kennewick, WA until the new office on Wrigley St, Pasco, WA opens in fall 2026.
What will you do in this job?
Maintain contact with participants and community employers (including community work-experience training sites) to ensure job match/training the meets needs of both the participant and employer.
Act as an advocate on behalf of individuals served by the Agency; may perform intermediary dispute resolution between participant and employer as work situation dictates; negotiate work schedules, job tasks and accommodations (if necessary) on behalf of individuals served.
