Job Overview
Strategic digital software engineering role serving as a recognized technical authority for an area within the business.
The role has significant impact through complex deliverables and provides technology and operations advice affecting a broader sub-function or job family.
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale software efforts and serve as a development lead for medium and large projects across analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Plan and manage application development assignments involving large budgets, cross-functional projects, or multiple projects.
- Gather end-user requirements and incorporate system specifications into system design and delivery.
- Provide architectural guidance, conduct design and code reviews, and promote design patterns for Agile, Plan of Record, and Next Gen Architecture projects.
- Publish design review extensions, metrics, documented guidance, and design patterns aligned with sprint plans and delivery timelines.
- Mentor and coach software development engineers and guide teams on efficient, scalable system delivery.
- Drive technical strategy, resolve dependencies and blockers, communicate risks, and support trade-off decisions with stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and control requirements.
