About the Role
We are seeking a Java Software Engineer for a FinTech / Digital Lending company in Abu Dhabi. You will design and develop backend systems for lending products, including loan origination, repayment, and risk workflows.

- Design and develop backend systems for lending products, including loan origination, repayment, and risk workflows
- Build scalable B2B platforms supporting partners, merchants, and financial institutions
- Implement core modules such as credit assessment, KYC/KYB integration, and repayment schedules
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements
- Work closely with risk, product, and compliance teams
- Design APIs and integrations with external financial systems (banks, payment gateways)
- Maintain system stability, data consistency, and high availability
- Participate in architecture design and system modernization
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of Java backend development experience
- Strong experience with Spring Boot / Spring Cloud
- Experience in fintech, lending, banking, or financial systems
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka / RabbitMQ)
- Knowledge of financial workflows (loan lifecycle, underwriting, repayment)
