Role Overview
- We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Java Developer to work on a contractor basis. This individual will apply their expertise to help train next generation AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, efficient, and maintainable Java applications that meet the high standards of our clients' AI systems.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements, working closely with AI engineers and domain experts.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and high standards of code quality, and providing constructive feedback to colleagues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner, working collaboratively with the development team to identify and implement effective solutions.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and participate in system integration planning, sharing expertise and insights to drive the development of high quality AI systems.
- Document technical designs, processes, and workflows clearly and effectively, ensuring that knowledge is shared and accessible across the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Expert level proficiency in Java, with a strong understanding of object oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software development best practices.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and maintainable Java applications, with a strong focus on code quality and maintainability.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams, including AI engineers, domain experts, and other stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, with a strong understanding of iterative development, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
