Java - Senior Engineer

Mandatory Skills: Microservices + REST APIs, Spring Boot, Java 17+, Hibernate, JPA Key Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable and high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture. Define API contracts, service boundaries, and integration strategies for distributed and enterprise-grade systems. Develop reusable backend components and enterprise services following clean architecture and secure coding practices. Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize application performance through caching, asynchronous processing, database tuning, and JVM optimization. Own end-to-end delivery of assigned modules including design, development, testing support, and deployment readiness. Conduct code reviews ensuring adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and engineering best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines, logging, monitoring, and deployment automation to improve operational efficiency. Troubleshoot production issues and performance bottlenecks by performing detailed root cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes. Mentor junior developers on coding standards, debugging techniques, and modern Java development practices.
