Role Overview
Select Minds LLC is seeking a Java Backend Lead to lead backend design and development and drive successful project delivery.
The role includes technical leadership, team mentorship, code quality ownership, and collaboration in an Agile environment.
Workplace and Location
- The role is based in Phoenix, Arizona and requires on-site work from day one, five days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead backend architecture, design, and development.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Drive code quality, best practices, and engineering standards.
- Make technical decisions and contribute to successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and technical improvements.
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 11 years of professional experience.
- Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Vert.x, reactive programming, and distributed systems.
