Role Overview
The clinic is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented janitor to keep its premises clean, compliant, safe, and welcoming.
The work supports cleanliness, safety, and hygiene for patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and sanitization of clinic areas, waiting rooms, offices, and restrooms.
- Follow healthcare hygiene standards and infection control protocols.
- Monitor, restock, and maintain cleaning supplies, hand sanitizers, soaps, and paper products.
- Handle, collect, and dispose of general and medical waste safely according to regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain clean floors, glass surfaces, and furniture throughout the facility.
- Report maintenance issues, broken equipment, and safety hazards to management immediately.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a janitor, cleaner, or maintenance staff member.
- Medical or clinic environment experience is preferred.
- Understand basic hygiene standards, cleaning chemical safety, and proper waste handling.
- Have high attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Work independently and manage daily cleaning schedules efficiently.
- Possess basic English communication skills.
